If anyone has a telescopic brush I am happy to clean the 'Parking for Shoppers' sign outside the shops on Grove Lane. There are loads of mossy/grubby signs in the area, everywhere you look. I am sure the council should be doing it but aren't. I think it makes the place look untidy - your area is a reflection of yourself.

I also agree that the sign by the shops is particularly unsightly! Every time I go up there, I want to clean it...

I think the area around Ash Lane/Grove Lane/Wellfield Lane looks a mess. The current weather makes the leaves look like brown slush, slippy underfoot or hiding another load of dog poo. I saw the council picking leaves up surprisingly regularly when the weather was nice. Where are they now?
Contractors/residents parking on the grassed verges have made many bare and others more akin to Glastonbury, (Somerset, not Avenue)
There has been a noticeable increase in traffic and with it rubbish in the hedges. I have noticed that people who buy scratch cards are serial offenders for chucking 'lost dreams' on the floor.
I am sure none of this is new and many of you do/have campaign about it.

I wouldn't confess to have the most pristine frontage in the area but we have improved it year on year. If people stop picking up/looking after what is outside their house the area starts to suffer.
